FYI - V3.80 is available on torrent sites if you need a copy.
AD: Any progress? Its been awhile since I've seen any movement on this site... Have you figured out a way to mod the system to bypass the disc authenticity check?

Looks like BN2HHMLD contains reference to a Win CE Embedded NK.BIN -- While leads me to believe the ~13MB Bin files are all "Win CE" nk.bin files, which are loaded depending on which version of navigation system you have in your vehicle (more importantly, this means the orange dvds are most likely to be identical for both Honda and Acura vehicles with a simple select case to determine which OS bin file to run/load into startup).
AngryDad... you still alive? Still have the files you mentioned you had back in 2007 (I realize no one tried your challege, but it would be nice to see the fruits of your labor)

ZZZ10.BIN is exactly 10,240 Bytes (shows as 10KB in windows explorer)
ZZZ100.BIN is exactly 102,400 Bytes (shows as 100KB in windows explorer)
Seems both files have the same character repeated without spaces for the entire length of the file. Not 100% sure what exactly these are for, beyond initializing space in memory I really can't see an obvious reason for their existence. Will update more as I know more....

U0001_01.BAS & U0001_02.BAS are Navteq Map data files - seems this information is proprietary to Navteq and a couple different DVD based navigation systems has the same type of files... (US Mercedes US+Canada (MSC II )DVD has exactly the same files, well almost --- slightly different file sizes, but same filenames)
-- These files appear to use Navteq's "open", yet seemingly unavailable, gps navigation mapping format standard introduced back in 1999 called "SDAL" (http://www.navteq.com/sdalformat/news_110999.html)
I have the datasheet for SDAL format if you're interested... I would like to get my hands on Navtools (a dev tool from Navtech, before they changed into Navteq)

--- These are all the files found in the BN2HH120.BIN > so yes, these are all Windows Embedded CE files... more specifically, these are NK.BIN files... Microsoft offers tools to dump these bins (which is what I did to the forementioned file)... Windows CE Platform Builder has these files OR you can search for NKBinTools - you're sure to find something ;-)

...looking into the files within each BIN... I have found "JITBGR.EXE" is actually a mitsubishi-made application, which appears to have some relevance to the fact that the DVD unit is actually manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric.
Aircon.exe, AVUnit.exe, cls_init.exe, Diag.exe, HMIManager.exe, navi.exe, Opening.exe, PIM.exe, and TripComputer.exe are all executables that appear to be customized for the navigation system ( in other words, they aren't the standard base fileset that is normally loaded into an image by default with Windows CE )
It would be nice to know people actually care if I post this information.
